About the event
For Neurodivergent Tweens Who Crave Connection—Just on Their Terms
This isn’t a “fix-you” group. It’s a find-your-people group.
Join us for a weekly outdoor hangout where neurodivergent kids ages 11–13 can practice social skills in a relaxed, low-pressure environment—with fresh air, movement, and lots of space to just be themselves.
We’ll explore:
How to enter and exit conversations
Navigating tricky moments like rejection, frustration, or sensory overload
Building trust, boundaries, and shared joy with peers
Teamwork through play, nature games, and collaborative challenges
Led by a neurodivergent-informed coach, each session supports self-advocacy, emotional safety, and authentic friendships. Expect structure—but not rigidity, connection—but not forced interaction, and plenty of space for sensory needs and personal pace.
🗓Tuesday's in June, 3-4:30pm📍 Parks around Fort Collins, exact location will be emailed.
🎒 Bring water, comfy clothes, and anything you need to feel regulated
Let’s build social confidence—without scripts, shame, or fluorescent lights.
